Here at Flitch we love to have fun. We have lots of conversations between ourselves that can be both odd and ingenious. I’m not sure which one this falls under, but we thought it would be fun to sponsor an event called the Flitch “Octobeardfest”. And while we know Octobeard has been around for a while we just want to get in on the action.
For some of you who hunt or have hunted, growing a beard is just the natural thing you do when the season starts to change and it starts getting a little nippy in the mornings. My dad, brothers, and myself have done this for years. I know we aren’t alone in this so we wanted to create a sort of beard forum for people to show off their Manly Man Beards.
As mentioned in our Facebook post, we have been growing our beards since Oct 1 as part of Flitch’s “Octobeardfest” and we will be showing off some cool beard-related artwork and photos. Please submit pictures of your glorious man mane if you have one and we can feature it alongside a celebrity look-a-like beard. It’ll be fun! You can even give your face hair a name that we’ll share with everyone (barring explicit ones).
You can submit pictures and info about your beard (how long it’s been growing, and other interesting facts about it) to our email box located HERE. For questions give us a call. Happy Octobeard!

I’ve always grown a beard in October and my wife hates it, but now I have a purpose!
